Seattle: Wings over Washington

I have been pretty open about my love for these types of rides, and this has been one of the best.

In Las Vegas and at Mall of America, there were larger theaters with multiple viewing options. Here there is only the one film, flying over Washington State, but everything is devoted to it. I was surprised that there was no option for scheduling ahead, but things move pretty quickly. We bought our tickets and got in line, and were soon on our way.

The premise is that you are going to on a stargazing trip, but under the right conditions the eagle will take you on a journey. Fortunately, the right conditions work out.

The footage was crisp and clear, the primary weakness with some others. In addition, as a lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest, there was a lot that was familiar, as well as beautiful.  Before taking off there was some scenery that we flew through, and I am not sure whether it being there before or us going through it was the optical illusion.

COVID: It was inside, I wore a mask.

Accessibility: They do have an elevator but you also need to be able to transfer to the seat and be securely fastened in it, though they do mention a separate viewing area with a monitor if that is not possible. If there are specific questions for your needs I would ask before purchasing.

There can be some sensitivity issues.

It is a short ride, but very much worth taking.
