If we wanted to do all of Seattle, surely that would involve getting on the water as well as near it.
Due to the CityPass deal (which I will write more about later) we ended up on an Argosy Cruise of Elliott Bay.
Elliott Bay is an inlet of Puget Sound. The Seattle Waterfront is on it, with Bainbridge Island across and lots to see.
One of the other cruises we looked at seemed to focus more on available alcohol. That was an option here, but perhaps was less of a focus.
There was narration, which I appreciated.
There were many things that we could kind of see and know what we were looking at or remember from other places.
There were also things that we might not have figured out or noticed, and sometimes even ways to get more information.
As it came close to time to board, we saw a long line and were a little worried. Everything went quickly and smoothly and was well-organized.
We had great weather. This mainly means that we were out on one of the approximately 90 days per year that "the mountain was out".
There should still be plenty to see on cloudier days.
COVID: It was really packed. I kept my mask on inside, and even when I went out on deck I mostly kept it on, simply because of the amount of people.
Accessibility: There were passengers who transferred from mobility devices and then transferred back on our cruise. From their FAQ Argosy says that some vessels have more restrictions than others, and recommends calling ahead.
