Finishing Oregon's Mt. Hood Territory Heritage Trail

 

We've been at it so long I am not sure I remember how it started, but I think it was in Oregon City, and seeing one of the signs for the Heritage Trail. What could this be?

Then the trail kept changing; we were at it for at least three years, and we did not only go to spots on the trail.

The trail changes were largely that the site is commercial so needs to feature lodging and food and wineries. That's fine, but it's not our thing.

Regardless, we decided to visit every spot on Oregon's Mt. Hood Territory Heritage Trail, and we did.

They have all been reported already, but here are links and pictures.

We live in a beautiful area that's full of interesting stories.

Finishing the trail isn't an end; we recently had a great time in Troutdale.

Those posts will come, though I am going to spend some time on holiday attractions first.

Today is just a commemoration of a goal achieved.
