Local artists have a display of winter and holiday art available at Lloyd Center.
We hadn't been for a while, so we had to check it out.
The hardest part was actually locating it.
Because it is temporary, there is nothing on the mall directory.
It is in the old Foot Locker space, but Foot Locker is no longer listed on the directory.
None of the security people had heard of it.
The flyer just says it is on the second level, which is true but not specific.
It is toward the West end of the second level, across from the Braided River Gallery.
There were a lot of temporary markets set up for the holiday, so there is a lot to see and do right now.
Of course, probably a lot of them are ending this weekend, so act fast.
Most of the artwork is for sale, with prices and artists listed. The show is curated by Portland-based Artists Off the Page.
Artwork ranges from the cheerful...
... to the fearful.
It was a fun free look.
COVID: You are indoors in winter, right around holidays that people gather for. I advise wearing a mask.
Accessibility: Lloyd Center in general is built pretty well. The way the exhibit sections are set up, there are some passages to get through, but it seemed pretty navigable.
It will be there until 5 PM on December 21st.
There will also be story time from 1 - 2, and Braided River is having a baby Sasquatch hunt.
