Who can resist goats?
With less opportunity for person to person interaction, the patch has compensated with signs giving information about their different products and processes.
Obviously they grow pumpkins, and you can learn about that, but there was also information on honey and Christmas trees.
You can also get an idea of farm operations. Regular pumpkins had not been planted yet, but giant pumpkins had a head start with protective housing, giving them plenty of time to get giant before October.
A farm is full of promise for the future, which is why it was nice to see the solar panels.
But it is more than that.
Pumpkin cannons are waiting, whenever the chance comes.
Christmas will still come, and there can still be Christmas trees.
Playgrounds will open again.
Seriously, six pumpkin doughnuts were included with admission. They were fresh and warm and a little messy due to the sugar and cinnamon coating, but so good! If on other visits doughnuts are not included, but they are available, get the doughnuts.
There will be another safari on June 5th. You can find more information at...
