Escapology: Scooby-Doo and the Spooky Castle Adventure

One tricky thing about escape rooms is that to prevent giving things away, you are not supposed to take pictures while you are doing it. My pictures will be few, and not from inside the room.

I nonetheless hope you will believe me when I say how very cool it was.

They really captured the vibe of the old cartoons, with spooky decor and the familiar cast of characters. Jinkies, we loved the look they created.

Of course they have many other options available, with different themes and levels of difficulty.

Seeing how well this theme was executed, I would feel good about your options with any theme that interests you. If the theme that most interests you is one of the harder ones, well, there's always that risk.

Escapology also has a space for birthday parties, and you can have up to eight people in an escape room at a time, and other event options:

COVID: Once inside the room you are only with your group, but you don't know who else has been there. I stayed masked, but it may not have been necessary.

Accessibility: There were no obvious obstacles, but the spaces are not big, and sometimes you have to reach under and around things. That may not be an issue depending on the group dynamics, but it is something to think about.

Also, we got a souvenir wrist band!
