Spokane, Washington - Riverfront Park

We know we want to get back to Riverfront Park, so this review is really just a placeholder. They are still doing some construction on it, so perhaps when that is done.

One of the big attractions for Julie was hearing tell of a giant red wagon slide. This is The Childhood Express, by Ken Spiering, part of the park's Sculpture Walk.

We did not get to see all of the sculptures, as we were running out of time and the park was also crowded from the Pig Out in the Park.

At least we got to see the Goat.

We were also able to see that the park is visually interesting and that it can serve as a gathering place and social heart of the community.

And we could see that we want to go back. So someday, we will.
